We're currently planning a meeting for this day, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

This is a secured building, so let someone in the lobby know that you're looking for the GSLUG meeting and they will show you up.

  • Our contact at Speakeasy is Lori Barry - 206-265-3360. Call if you're locked out or would like to use the bike storage room.

[edit] Directions by bus

Any bus that goes to downtown Seattle will get you well within walking distance. Use Metro's Trip Planner or Google Transit to find your closest bus and departure time.

If you absolutely must drive, don't - take the bus. If you still absolutely must drive, here is driving directions and parking information.

Traveling South on I-5

Take the Union Street exit (Union is a one-way street). Follow Union Street to 2nd Avenue and take a LEFT. Continue on 2nd Avenue to Madison and take a RIGHT. At Western Avenue turn RIGHT. We are located at 1201 Western Avenue between Seneca and University.

Traveling North on I-5

Take the Madison Street exit and turn LEFT onto Madison St. and follow it down to Western Avenue. Turn RIGHT and follow to 1201 Western Avenue. We are located between Seneca and University.

Traveling West on I-90

Take the 1-5 North exit and follow the directions "Traveling North on I-5."

Traveling West on Highway 520

NOTE: 520 is closed this weekend 7/11 (Fri 11p) to 7/14 (Mon 5a)

Take the I-5 South exit and follow the directions "Traveling South on I-5."


Parking

There are paid lots in the immediate area as well as the Harbor Steps parking garage. If you are parking in the Harbor Steps garage, continue on Madison to Western Avenue and turn RIGHT onto Western. Continue for 2 ½ blocks to the parking garage, located between Seneca and University Streets.

lightning talks are usually around 5 minutes each. There will be lots of time later in the day for everyone to break into groups and learn more about each topic.
